Pastor Steve Wright is married to Amy and has two children, Madison and Noah.
Steve served as the Senior Pastor of Providence Christian Center in San Francisco from its very beginning. The church was started in April of 1994 and he was pastor until December of 2006. Under his leadership the church grew into a multi ethnic church and is completely bilingual holding services in both English and Spanish to this very day. He remains Pastor Emeritus.

Steve is  now the Senior Pastor of  The Salt Mine Church and also the Senior Pastor of 2xSalt, INC in Charlotte.

 - Educations: graduate of East Coast Bible College, Charlotte, NC, with an Associates Degree in Pastoral Ministry
 -In 1991 he earned a Bachelors of Science in Christian Leadership from Patten University, Oakland, CA.
 - He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in counseling.

Marcus Cyprian serves as Program Coordinator for the 2XSalt After School Ministry. A native of North Carolina , Marcus grew up in nearby Shelby , NC where he attended Shelby High School . He later attended N.C. Agricultural and Technical State University where he majored in Vocal Performance.   God, however, had another plan for his life. He finally found his niche working with disadvantaged children in Gaston County and has been working with children in some capacity ever since. Over the past 7 years, Marcus worked as a Program Aide and later and Information Technology Director for a Boys & Girls Club in the area. During that span of time, Marcus also attained a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and worked as a Private Chef as well as a Sous Chef for a local food service establishment.

Susan Turner- Mentoring Director

Susan Turner and her husband, Tom, both natives of North Carolina, spent the last five years in Toledo, OH.  There she had the privilege of teaching adults to read as a Read For Literacy tutor. She also served at Cedar Creek Church and became coordinator for Jesus Leaves No Child Behind, a ministry whose mission is to impact the lives of at-risk inner-city children by sharing God's love through an after-school program which presents the Gospel through one-on-one mentoring with Christ-following adults.  Susan was an integral part of developing a relationship between that ministry and Summit YMCA which lead to a one-of-a-kind ongoing partnership which continues to benefit Toledo's most fragile children.  Susan served as Summit YMCA Director of Kids Club After-School until she and Tom returned to North Carolina.  

Susan majored in Psychology at UNC-Asheville and spent over twenty years in business before answering the call to fulltime ministry. She is a passionate reader and literacy advocate.  However, her greatest joy upon returning home to the Carolinas  is spending time with her children and grandchildren.  

Brad grew up in Virginia and met his wife Jessi in college . At age 21 Brad accepted the call upon his life to go into full time ministry and moved to work at City of Refuge Inc. in Atlanta . Over the next 3 ½ years he served as Youth Director and also worked in other areas as volunteer coordinator, worship leader, and house manager of their Mens Transitional House. In March of 2009 he and his wife accepted the position as Youth Pastors of 2XSalt Inc. and The Salt Mine Church in Charlotte , NC .

-Educations: graduate of New River Community College , Dublin , VA , with an Associates Degree of Arts and Sciences.

- In 2007 he became a licensed Associate Chaplain in the Church of God Chaplains Commission.

-He is currently pursuing further ordination as a Minister.

Jessi Hanks- Ministry Development Coordinator

With such small town roots, Jessi never dreamed she would leave her hometown of Whiteville, NC. This all changed her second year of college when she decided to devote two years to attend Mission Virginia (a ministry discipleship training center) in Roanoke. She later transferred to Cleveland, TN to complete her Bachelors degree in Communication (emphasis in Public Relations).

During college, Jessi met her husband, Brad, and so she naturally made the move to Atlanta, GA after graduating (Brad was working fulltime for an inner-city ministry, City of Refuge). She was soon employed fulltime with the Metro Atlanta YMCA while also volunteering with the youth at her church.

In January of 2009, Jessi and Brad felt the call to work together in ministry and God opened the door for them to move to Charlotte to work for 2xSalt. After much prayer, they made the move in March. Currently, Jessi works in the offices of 2xSalt and serves with the youth and music ministries of the Salt Mine Church.
